“Mountain Chaos”

It all started with the navigator holding the map upside down, proudly pointing to what everyone assumed was the peak of Mount Definitely-Not-It. “This way!” they yelled, leading the group directly into a patch of stinging nettles. Spirits were high, though. Someone packed marshmallows—what could go wrong?

Halfway through the climb, the grappling hook became public enemy number one. The first throw lodged itself in someone’s backpack, sending them spinning like a human carousel. The second attempt hooked onto the frying pan, which launched a snowball straight into the team leader’s face. This marked the frying pan’s official promotion to “weapon of choice.”

Then came the gear check. “Where are the snacks?” someone asked. Silence. The group collectively turned to see the cooler sitting at the base of the mountain, mocking them from afar. In a stroke of questionable genius, the navigator suggested using the frying pan to collect melting snow for “mountain soup.” Spoiler: it tasted like regret.

As they climbed higher, a thermos of coffee became the group’s lifeline, but tragedy struck when someone dropped it. It bounced heroically down the cliff, and the team held a moment of silence before someone muttered, “Well, there goes morale.”

Finally, they reached the summit—or so they thought. Through the binoculars, the actual peak was visible across the valley, complete with a victory flag. Everyone stared in exhausted silence until the frying pan was declared their new flag. They planted it proudly in the snow and took selfies.
