“Duckie Diaries: The Tub Life”

Floating is the job, and I do it well. Life in the tub is simple, and honestly, it’s not half bad. Warm water, plenty of bubbles, and the occasional dramatic whirlpool when the drain opens—what’s not to love? I drift along, bumping into my fellow duckies like we’re part of some weird synchronized swimming team.

There’s always a little drama in the tub. The duck with the bow keeps claiming she’s the queen of the faucet, lording over her “kingdom” of soap scum and suds. Meanwhile, the upside-down duck just spins lazily, looking like he’s invented a new kind of zen meditation. We all give him space. You don’t mess with a duck on his own vibe.

Then there’s the loofah, the so-called rock star of bath time. It thinks it’s so cool because it gets the suds and the scrubbing action. Whatever, loofah. We’re the real stars here. After all, when bath time is over, who gets lined up neatly on the edge of the tub? That’s right. Duckies.

Today’s excitement comes from a new bubble bath—something fruity that smells like strawberries. The water turns pink, and we all get a little jazzed up. It’s not every day the bath gets this festive. Bow Duck declares it a “royal celebration,” and we just roll with it. The tub might be small, but we make it big with our imagination.

When the bubbles fade and the water drains, we settle back into our positions, ready for the next round. Life as a duckie is a flowy adventure, full of floating and funny little moments.
