“The Bazaar of Questionable Firepower”
In the orbiting market of Perplexion Prime, an eccentric arms dealer named Glorb ran the most bizarre stall in the galaxy. Tucked between a stand selling glow-in-the-dark pet amoebas and a noodle cart run by a sentient squid, Glorb’s stall displayed the galaxy’s strangest collection of space guns.
“Behold!” Glorb bellowed as curious shoppers paused to gawk. “Weapons for the brave, the reckless, and the downright confused!” The first weapon he grabbed had a blade attached to its side and what appeared to be a laser scope duct-taped to the top. “This here? Fires plasma and doubles as a sword. No refunds if it accidentally heats itself up!”
Next, he picked up something that looked like a saw strapped to an oversized toaster. “The Rip-Tide Special! Great for cutting through enemy armor… or fixing that pesky hull breach!” He revved it for effect, and it sputtered ominously before spitting out a tiny puff of smoke. A nearby shopper backed away nervously.
Then came Glorb’s pride and joy: a gun with twin prongs resembling a trident and a series of blinking lights that seemed purely decorative. “This beauty? The Quantum Fork! Shoots energy bolts that explode… or implode… depending on its mood. Handle with care—or don’t. Either way, it’s an adventure!”
Other items in his collection defied explanation: a gun with a spinning disc attachment, one that hummed ominously without being fired, and a compact weapon that had a blade longer than the barrel itself. “Innovation,” Glorb claimed, “requires a touch of madness.”
By the end of the day, buyers left with armfuls of questionable firepower, unsure if they had purchased cutting-edge tech or dangerously unstable junk. Glorb grinned, knowing one thing: no matter how weird the guns were, they always sold.
